This is the 3 HBU bittering pack made famous by the Adventures in Homebrewing / Austin Homebrewing crew. This will add a consistent bittering base for your favorite 5 gal recipe. This pack with add 10 IBU+/-10% to your 10 lb of grain (5% ABV), 5.5 gal of water beer recipe without adding a significant addition in flavor. It takes the guess work out of brewing and assures for consistent beers every time! If you need more or less bittering IBU's, add more or less hops to balance the bitter where you need it. Brilliant!!
